Norway is known as the land of the midnight sun. This land is known to receive sunlight 24 hours a day during summer.

Here are some famous tourist spots in norway.

Vigelandsparken Sculpture Park:  

Vigelandsparken Sculpture Park is located in Oslo,the capital city of norway. This large park possessing 227 granite and 
bronze sculptures by Norway's celebrated sculptor Gusrav Vigeland. This park is built on 75acre land.The focus
point of this park is the monolith, which stand in the centre of the park.It is 18 meter height. 
121 colossal human figures carved in one piece of stone. It represents the cycle of human life.

 

The Norwegian Opera & Ballet:

The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet is Norway’s largest music and performing arts institution with over 600 employees working in about
50 professions and trades. . The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet is the first fully professional company for opera and ballet in Norway.
The new opera house offers a rich and varied programme from three stages: The Main House (1369 seats),
Second House (400 seats) and the Studio (200 seats). 

Holmenkollbakken:

Holmenkollbakken is a large ski jumping hill located at Holmenkollen, Oslo. 

Akershus Fortress:

Akershus Fortress is one of the oldest and finest cultural heritage sites in Norway. It has been used as a prison. 


Viking Ship Museum:

The main attractions at the Viking Ship Museum are the Oseberg ship, Gokstad ship and Tune ship. 

National Gallery:

National Gallery houses Norway's largest public collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures. 

Tusen Fryd:

TusenFryd is an amusement park at Vinterbro, 20 kilometers south of Oslo. here they meet. The park has 31 attractions and has 500,000 visitors per year.

Fram Museum:

The Fram Museum is a museum telling the story of Norwegian polar exploration. It is located on the peninsula of Bygdoy in Oslo.
