Technology has had a significant effect on children. Kids in the current generation are highly interested with technology. Kids today cannot imagine a life without items such as video games, internet, cell phones and iPods. Technology has had an effect on children, some effects are good, others are not so good.

In the past days children spent their days running around the neighborhood and driving bicycles to the shop. Games were played in the form of ‘cops and robbers’ and other children’s games out in the backyard. Kids nowadays tend to occupy themselves with ‘digital toys’. In fact the technology has increased the quality of the life in many ways. Technology specifically the internet, offers a vast amount of knowledge and children have access to absorb much of this information. Video games offer ways for kids to learn basic principles of team work and sharing. But it makes children lazy and not creative.

So it’s the prime duty of the parents to make your children do something creatively and to make them participate in the social events and make them a social being.
