As gadgets are becoming more thinner, the next generation USB will be smaller and slimmer .the upcoming connector ,called type-c is designed for the USB 3.1 specification and scheduled to be finalized by the middle of 2014. It can move data at 10 gigabits per second; it's reversible, meaning users no longer need to worry about plug orientation. The USB 3.0 promoter group did not release a picture of upcoming connector
