Taleban gunmen stormed at a military run public school in north west Pakistan in the city of Peshwar earlier yesterday .The massacre killed around 141 people, 132 being students. Now I can put facts n figures and make this a report but I intend to address the issue here – Eliminate terrorism, stop defending their acts, stop funding them, stop supporting them.

The Pakistani Taleban had no intentions of taking hostages, they killed ruthelessly in cold blood and detonated a suicide bomb killing many. They burnt a teacher alive infront of her pupils and beheaded children. The Taleban have said that this attack was ‘revenge attack’ for the Pakistani Army attacks on them. It is also possible that one of the reasons for this brutal massacre was a revenge mission for Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai being awarded the nobel peace prize. Revenge? By killing innocent children ? They wanted to send a message to all the people around the globe that they can take what they want, when they want and however ther want . Years of pain and hardwork put in to raise these children and these cowards wiped the dreams and burnt the soul of every parent in a matter of few hours. They mercilessly shot and beheaded 132 innocent souls. The children who left their homes in their uniforms with dreams are now put in coffins. Those children who were the future of a country, of the world are no more. In war, children should never be the casualty. It is our duty to protect children from such brutality. Are we going to turn a blind eye to this horrific incident? Are we going to stay mum ? Are you going to wait for another incident like this?

Hilary Clinton once said, “You can’t keep snakes in your backyard and expect them to bite your neighbours.” Isn’t it true ? Isn’t it time to learn from your mistakes ? I’m not pointing fingers at any particular country here, but those guilty know who im talking about.

Wake up people!! Wake up !! It is time to stop this, stop defending these butchers for their acts on the basis of nationality or religion or a common enemy. Stop creating differences amongst people on the basis of religion and nationality. These terrorists feed off and grow due to our differences, the gaps created by none other but ourselves.

Can I ask those coward terrorists, What did these children do to deserve a cruel death as this ? How can you point a gun at an innocent face ? Why do you scar the minds of the children for life ? No book or no religion or no person can justify your acts. Nothing, I repeat nothing can justify your act of slaughtering innocent children in cold blood. By doing this you are not serving the purpose of the Creator (which is how you justify your actions). Infact you people are going to rot in hell.

The world watched in silence before as the Taleban killed at will. The world watched when they treated our women with disrespect and stoned our men to death, the world watched and gasped when they carried out such horrific and inhumane acts. The world is no longer going to simply watch anymore. This mindless killing must be put to an end. So I ask you my brothers and sisters, can we for once agree to the fact that there is absolutely no negotiating with people like this because they will kill and will kill ruthelessly. Can we make a vow, an oath to ourselves that each and every one of us will work together to eliminate terrorism and start by spreading this thought till each and every person makes it his or her duty to protect another human being.

To all the people in Peshawar with bleeding hearts, we hear your pain, we grieve with you. A moment of silence will be appreciated for all those beautiful souls who left the world. Rest in Peace !
