Users of the social networking site Face book are invited to experience what it's like to experience dementia (Damnchia), to raise awareness of the symptoms of the disease and how to deal with him. The application of the "Face book Damnchia" new, designed by the Alzheimer's Research Institute in the United Kingdom "acquired" personal pages on Face book, and erase some of the important data that is stored previously, in a simulation of the impact of dementia on the left by the human brain. Said Rebecca Wood, chief executive of the Alzheimer's Research Institute in the United Kingdom: "What makes Face book attractive is that it brings together friends and family and documenting the relationship between them, through the collection of memories and the people you know in one place. The Face book also designed a note to your daily life since the start of the account, and documents the thoughts and reflections during that period.”She added: "We wanted to use these characteristics of Face book to clarify how can those thoughts and memories that are exposed to the noise, but completely forgotten, as it happens to hundreds of thousands of people in the UK who suffer from dementia."

It continued: "What makes the disease and the social stigma of dementia is a lack of awareness by the public and Boaradh and how to deal with him, so it will be applied to Face book Damnchia a valuable role in helping people to understand it better."Wood and urged people to use the new application and share it with friends and family on Face book.
