The story line of the movie shows a Pakistani boy falling in love with an Indian girl and how he has to fight his way to convince her dysfunctional family. It sort of resembles 2 states, but in a more international level.

Indian girl Asha, played by Yami Gautam and Pakistani boy, Aman, played by Ali Zafar are madly in love with each other but they’re afraid as to how to convince their family. He sets on an adventure to go to her much loud Punjabi family. Asha’s mother’s role which is played by Kirron Kher is convinced that this marriage will never work. He also has to deal with, Asha’s sister, played by Sarah Khan who does sexy table top dancing for him and also her 5 year old kid who defines naughty. Furthermore, to add to this mayhem, is an ex-military grandfather who had shot many Pakistanis back in his time and also an Anti-Pakistani brother in law. And to make it all worse, the father in law enters the scene with a Brit hooker.

The story written by E. Niwas ( adaptation of Spanish rom-com Seres Queridos) shows a lot of insanity with hilarious dialogues. The screenplay written by Neeraj Pandey is weak and loses it comical touch. Also, in some parts it touches sensitive issues like terrorism which is nicely covered with humor.

The film has opened poorly in India.
Thought not quite worth the price of admission, the best thing in the movie is the dazed expression on the face of one of India’s most reliable character actors, Anupam Kher, wandering around Central London in his long johns as the clobbered father.

The film falls into the category of unsatisfactory.
